This is pre-sunrise golden hour view of Hong Kong from Victoria Peak. The fancy coloured advertising signs on the building are switched off and without them, the city has a completely different light than what we get to see in the evening.
The vantage point where I’ve captured this image is a very popular spot with photographers, both local & foreigners, so an early rise and early arrival at location is a must for good position. It’s a regular outing for a lot of the locals, who settles in with their little picnic stools, tea/coffee mugs & snacks to enjoy the amazing view at this time of the day.
