A small bay along the Icefjord – a place to just sit & watch the icebergs and whales float by. It’s peaceful, it’s quiet, it’s incredible.
During our visit the weather was continuously changing, which greatly added to the whole experience. The changing light created so many different scenes – rain or shine, it was all so unbelievably beautiful.
Sermermiut is an old settlement just outside Ilulissat. For 4000 years different inuit cultures lived here and left behind are turf hut ruins and other remains still to be seen.
