Shanghai by night

Shanghai is such an amazing place. I’ve been fortunate enough to have lived in this city for almost 4 years. The energy, the vibe, the contrasts of new modern architecture blended in amongst the old city. Add to this the still strong dominance of the old traditional Chinese culture and way of life versus the younger generation’s mentality very much influenced by western culture. It’s all so incredible to experience.
I captured this image on a return visit to Shanghai. Trying to get a skyline shot across the river with smooth water, is when you realise how busy the Huangpu river really is – patience is definitely required.
