This is an image of the water flowing to one of the Twin Falls in Morton National Park. It is captured during the extreme rain storm event of March 2021 and gives a view of the torrent of water pouring out of the forest to the waterfall.
It was a couple of days into the extreme weather event in New South Wales, that I decided to check out some of the big waterfalls in Southern Highlands. It was spectacular sights, yet made me feel very tiny against such strong natural powers.
On the South Coast and in the Southern Highlands we were fortunate not to get hit as hard, as the areas west and north of Sydney. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those effected by the damages this event caused.
